From our headquarters in South Wales we have built up an international reputation as one of the foremost independent production companies in the UK, producing 117 hours (as at April 2025) of high-end drama for broadcasters and networks including HBO, BBC, AMC and Sky.

Since launching, shows including The Night Of (HBO), His Dark Materials (HBO/BBC), A Discovery Of Witches (Sky/AMC Networks), Industry (HBO/BBC), I Hate Suzie (Sky/HBO Max), The Winter King (ITV), Red Eye (ITV) and Doctor Who (BBC/Disney) have all gone on to achieve global recognition and win multiple awards at the BAFTA, BAFTA Cymru, RTS, Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.

Our London team are based in the heart of Soho and the creative development team, legal, finance and production staff members use the space to host regular creative meetings and writers rooms.

Bad Wolf’s Chief Creative Officer (Global), Ryan Rasmussen, runs Bad Wolf’s LA office situated on the lot at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City to enable us to keep the business running 24/7 and seek out international financing opportunities.

Screen Alliance Wales

Bad Wolf created Screen Alliance Wales, based at Wolf Studios Wales, in 2018, to educate, promote and train production crews and build infrastructure. Screen Alliance Wales opens doors to those people who don’t have that many doors opened for them. As of June 1st 2024, Screen Alliance Wales has engaged with over 77,000 people and has almost 10,000 vetted crew on its database, offering long term trainee placements to 100 individuals so far.

Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

Bad Wolf sponsors Diversity Scholarships at RWCMD and we have helped 9 scholars with their studies over the past 10 years, as well as welcoming them to meet previous graduates and crew at the Studio. We also help promote the College’s Foundation Degree in Scenic Construction, and fund the Young People’s Production Arts scheme which offers workshops to young people interested in a creative career.

Theatr Clwyd

Bad Wolf supports Theatr Clwyd to provide opportunities for emerging talent through trainee apprenticeships for designers, directors, writers and actors. The connection between Bad Wolf and Theatr Clwyd means together we can provide opportunities in the arts for those living in North Wales across theatre and TV. Alongside their traineeships, Bad Wolf’s support provides opportunities for people on their creative journey through our engagement groups with ages from 4-104. Theatre Clwyd’s bursary programme provides financial assistance to those unable to attend their workshops otherwise, helping to remove barriers for those wanting to join the creative sector.

BAFTA CYMRU & BAFTA

Bad Wolf supports the work of BAFTA in Wales by taking part in talent-related masterclasses and events, as well as historic sponsorship of the Breakthrough Award at the annual British Academy Cymru Awards, to support the charity’s outreach and inclusion aims. We also supported the Take a Seat campaign in 2021, to play our part in the redevelopment of the iconic 195 Piccadilly BAFTA HQ and the charity’s future talent development programmes.

Bad Wolf is providing sponsorship towards the ongoing work of Sherman Theatre’s Literary department.
