Bad Wolf is proud to announce its continued sponsorship and partnership with training scheme provider It’s My Shout for 2019.
This builds on Bad Wolf’s support of It’s My Shout in 2018, which included sponsorship of the ‘Best Film’ award at the It’s My Shout awards 2018. The partnership also encompasses a development relationship between Bad Wolf and It’s My Shout.
Founded in 2002, It’s My Shout is dedicated to providing training and development for a diverse TV and film talent base in Wales, creatively servicing the burgeoning TV and film industry in Wales. It produces short films for BBC Wales, S4C, Welsh Government and Arts Council of Wales.
“Bad Wolf is one of our key partners, and we are enormously grateful for the support that it provides, both in terms of practical support, creative development and cash sponsorship,” said Roger Burnell, Managing Director of It’s My Shout. “The support that we receive is indicative of the positive leadership at the helm of Bad Wolf, driving the ambition of a creative nation.”
Bad Wolf CEO Jane Tranter confirmed that the support of It’s My Shout is part of Bad Wolf’s strategy to not just spot but to train, grow and nurture talent, saying “we want to ensure that as much of the Bad Wolf production spend as possible goes into the local economy and to local people. The company can’t do this without drawing deeply on the talent, skills and creative energy of the community around us.”
