Theatr Clwyd is Wales’ leading producing theatre and regional arts centre and one of the country’s three most significant cultural organisations alongside Welsh National Opera and Wales Millenium Centre. Built in 1976 to provide cultural opportunity for people in North Wales, their mission is to make the world a happier place, one moment at a time.
Bad Wolf supports Theatr Clwyd to provide opportunities for emerging talent through trainee apprenticeships for designers, directors, writers and actors. The connection between Bad Wolf and Theatr Clwyd means together we can provide opportunities in the arts for those living in North Wales across theatre and TV.
Alongside their traineeships, Bad Wolf’s support provides opportunities for young people on their creative journey through our engagement groups with ages from 4-104, with Theatre Clwyd’s bursary programme which provides financial assistance to those unable to attend their workshops otherwise. Meaning that there are no barriers to those wanting to join the creative sector.
