Bad Wolf was honoured to receive the award for ‘Best Company for New Talent’ at the Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice Awards last night in recognition of their training initiatives and educational outreach work in Wales.
The New Voice Awards recognises emerging creatives and the companies who do the most to support them and was held in Rich Mix, London, hosted by Michael Dapaah.
Operations Executive Ben Jenkins accepted the award on behalf of the company and he gave praise to Screen Alliance Wales (SAW), the not-for-profit organisation established by Bad Wolf to support and grow new talent in the industry.
Examples of SAW’s work in Wales include its educational outreach programme for over 3500 students, over 100 work shadow placements at Wolf Studios Wales, 30 jobs sourced through SAW and 11 paid trainees on A Discovery Of Witches and His Dark Materials.
