TOR Emerging Writers is a brand new writers’ programme, offering new and emerging writers the opportunity to develop their writer’s toolkit, develop a long-form piece and have it performed to an audience.

The chosen writers will receive eight masterclasses from professionals working at the cutting edge in theatre, film and TV in Wales and beyond. Throughout the programme, they will be given three feedback sessions upon their work. The programme culminates in each writer having a rehearsed reading of their piece at The Other Room to the public and industry professionals.

In partnership with Bad Wolf, The Other Room is looking to discover the next generation of Welsh and Wales-based writers. Two sessions will be led by members of the Bad Wolf development team, empowering writers to take their vision from the page to the screen.
